Are you on the job market and having difficulty landing that perfect job? Are you having difficulty even getting your foot in the door for an interview? Join Cultural Connections for our June event to receive some much-needed advice on how to succeed as a museum professional!

For the first hour of the event, hear from employers as they discuss best practices regarding hiring materials and from recent hires about how they were most successful. Then, bring along your resume and have it reviewed and workshopped by fellow job seekers to receive peer-to-peer advice and feedback for the last 30 minutes of the event.

Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the museum field, we are offering this program free of charge to everyone, and asking participants to pay what they can. Cultural Connections is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by an all-volunteer board, and the funds earned through membership and program admission directly support professional development programs and resources for our colleagues throughout the Bay Area.
