Join us to kick off the Cultural Connections 2024 Program Season with a special artist-led tour of the Recology Artist in Residence program at the SF Dump! Attendees will have the unique opportunity to visit current Recology artists Torreya Cummings, Craig Calderwood, and current CCA student artist Qadir Parris in their studios and get a sneak peek of artwork in progress for the culminating exhibition. Following the studio tour, the artists will show attendees first hand where and how they scavenge in the Public Reuse and Recycling Area! Programming will end in the Environmental Learning Center for a mingling and a cheers to the new year.
