With a focus on young people ages 10 - 20, this program will feature speakers who will discuss best practices, strategies, and examples for how cultural institutions are co-creating meaningful and engaging experiences with our younger community audiences.
Our speakers:
Kelly Campanella, Artist & Education Program Director at the Oakland Museum of California
Kelly Campanella is an Oakland-based artist, educator, and youth advocate with over 15 years of experience in classrooms, after-school programs, cultural spaces, and community colleges. Right now, she's creating student programs at the Oakland Museum of California. She’s all about art education and youth development, always looking for ways to put students' voices front and center and build real connections. Kelly’s driven by creating programs that help students grow, express themselves, and make an impact in their communities. When she’s not at work you’ll probably find her making some messy art, catching a basketball game, or walking the dog all over the Bay Area.
